The Pink Panther
The Pink Panther, the eleventh film in the series, is an American comedy-mystery from 2006. It is a relaunch of the The Pink Panther series. It is also the first Pink Panther movie to hit theatres since 1993’s Son of the Pink Panther. Inspector Jacques Clouseau is tasked with investigating the death of a well-known football coach and the theft of the fabled Pink Panther diamond in this movie. Steve Martin plays Inspector Clouseau in the Shawn Levy-directed movie, which also stars Kevin Kline, Jean Reno, Emily Mortimer, and Beyoncé Knowles.
Despite the majority of bad reviews, the movie was a commercial success, grossing $164 million globally. Sony Pictures’ theatrical release of The Pink Panther took place on February 10 in the United States.
Released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 13, 2006, the film was distributed internationally by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and 20th Century Fox under the Columbia Pictures brand. A follow-up was made available on February 6, 2009.
